In-Store Policy

15 day warranty for all jewelry purchased (with receipt present) in-store (not valid for any special/custom orders)

 

For all reasonable repairs including:

     – ring sizing

     – loose stones

     – normal wear and tear

Any and all returns placed at Zafiro Jewelry will be given back as official store credit which can be used to purchase a different item at our location. No money back policy.

Repair Policy

All repair orders may only be picked up at our Harrisonburg location by the customer with the official receipt from Zafiro Jewelry given to the customer during sale transaction.

Exceptions may be made with official confirmation from the customer, however, receipt or a picture of the receipt must always be presented.

 

Our jeweler has a 100% guarantee on all repairs made on our customer's pieces. In the rare case that the area that is repaired is once again damaged, we will fix it for you to the discretion of the jeweler. 

 

All repairs must be paid in full before the repair is done (with exception to complicated repairs which may be subject to a small deposit before repairs can be made)

 

All customers have 21 days (3 weeks) to pick up repair orders (from the date the repair was completed) before the piece is considered abandoned.

NOTE: Abandoned pieces will be retained by Zafiro Jewelry

Layaway Policy

No returns or refunds will be accepted after the first payment of a layaway item. (First deposit is dependant on the full price of the layaway item)

If a cancellation is made on a layaway item, all money paid will be reimbursed to the customer as store credit only.

All layaway items must have a payment plan of either four, six, or eight weekly payments. This payment plan is decided by Zafiro Jewelry staff depending on the piece.

Extensions or adjustments can be applied on a case-to-case basis.

NOTE: If no payments are made within four weeks, the layaway item will be returned for sale and any payments will be reimbursed to the customer as sale credit only.

Special/Custom Order Policy

All special/custom orders must be paid in full before order can be processed. Customers may make payments if necessary, but work will not begin until the entire order has been paid. A payment plan of either four, six, or eight weekly payments may be selected.

No returns, store credit, or money back for special/custom orders. All sales are final.

Customers have 21 days (3 weeks) to pick up their special/custom order (from the date the order was completed) before the piece will be considered abandoned.

Outsourced Watch Repair Policy

Glass repairs are outsourced to our out-of-state watchmakers. All customers are required to pay $20 for shipping/insurance (nonrefundable) which is included in an overall $50 cash deposit for any outsourced repairs.

Zafiro Jewelry will then call customers after we receive an estimate of cost from our out-of-state watchmakers. The $30 from your cash deposit will be discounted from your overall estimate.

The $20 shipping/insurance fee will not be refunded after watches have been shipped out. A max balance of $20 may be refunded to customers.

NOTE: This policy includes all watch glass repairs and watch movement/machinery repairs.
